Pennan
For the movie goers Pennan is a must visit location, having been the location for many scenes in the 1983 movie “Local Hero”, as a result the village’s only Red Telephone box is now a must see tourist attraction, drawing in a steady stream of visitors all year round.
Pennan is accessed via a very steep and narrow road that brings you to the single street that runs along the coastal front.
Once there it is time to soak up the unique character and atmosphere of this quaint location, take a stroll along the sea front, absorb the peacefulness that Pennan offers, and of course, have your photograph taken outside that famous red kiosk.
